Pastor Joseph L. Wilson
Pastor Joseph L. Wilson is a native of Greenville, North Carolina. Upon graduating from J.H. Rose High School in Greenville, he transitioned to Greensboro, North Carolina. He is married to Mrs. Angela Michelle Wilkins Wilson. They are the proud parents of two beautiful daughters Tiffany and Ashley.
Pastor Wilson presently serves as the Senior Pastor of McLeansville First Baptist Church in McLeansville, North Carolina. Prior to Pastor Wilson’s arrival at McLeansville First Baptist Church, he founded the Bread of Life Fellowship Baptist Church in Greensboro, North Carolina and he served as the Associate Pastor of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Greensboro, North Carolina for seven years. He is currently employed with Wachovia Bank N.A.

Pastor Wilson obtained his formal education by attending numerous institutions of higher learning. He has attended the Greensboro Bible College in Greensboro, North Carolina, where he was the recipient of a certification for Biblical Studies completion. He is a graduate of Shaw University in Raleigh, North Carolina, where he was awarded a Bachelor of Arts degree in Religion and Philosophy. He also attended the Institute of Biblical Studies of Lynchburg, Virginia, where he earned a certificate for Biblical Studies. Pastor Wilson is currently pursuing his Master of Divinity degree from the Jacksonville Theological Seminary.
Pastor Wilson is actively involved in the Cedar Grove Baptist Association. He is presently the President of the Cedar Grove Pastor’s Conference, presides as one of two cluster Team Coordinators and is engaged in the Cedar Grove Baptist Ministers and Deacons Union. He is a representative on the following affiliations: Greensboro, North Carolina Pulpit Forum, General Baptist State Convention, Greensboro Urban Ministries, Greensboro Chamber of Commerce and the United Ways of the Forsyth and Guilford Districts.
Pastor Wilson is an anointed preacher and teacher of the word of God and with II Timothy 4:2, igniting his mission, he is always ready to ‘Preach the Word’, be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort all long-suffering and doctrine. He is known for teaching and preaching in such a charismatic way that it is very plain and easy for people of all ages to understand. The church body has experienced significant growth spiritually and in its membership under Pastor Wilson’s leadership. As Romans 1:16 states “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth.” Pastor Wilson encourages all individuals to be empowered by the Word of God by aligning their faith and works with God’s Word to experience all of God’s ultimate power in every area of their lives.
Minister Angela Michelle Wilkins Wilson
An anointed Woman of Purpose who seeks God's heart. She is a native of Hyattsville, MD and was educated in the Prince George's County school system. She later married and moved to Greensboro, NC. She is the daughter of the late Bernice and Ozella Wilkins.
Minister Angela Wilson was called into the gospel ministry and preached her initial sermon in June 2005. She serves as the First Lady, Women's Ministry Leader, Sunday School and Youth Bible Study Teachers at McLeansville First Baptist Church.
Minster Wilson's proudest accomplishments are being the wife of Pastor Joseph L. Wilson for 26 years and the mother of daughters Tiffany and Ashley.
As Minister Angela Wilson continually seeks God, her life motto is Matthew 6:33 "But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you."
